Experience in Conference Co-ordination

The principal conference co-ordinator, Dr Denis Venter (see abridged résumé below), has been involved in the organisation of many conferences, workshops, and symposia. Some earlier examples are:

  • An international conference on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in Innovation, for the Living Labs in Southern Africa (LLiSA), in conjunction with the Meraka Institute-CSIR, COFISA, the DST, and SAFIPA, Pretoria, 23 & 24 November 2009.
  • An international conference on Catalysing ICTs for Innovation and e-Inclusion, for the South Africa-Finland Knowledge Partnership on ICT (SAFIPA), Pretoria, 8 to 10 June 2009.

  • An international conference on Quality Management of Core Processes in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry, for the South African Association of Pharmacists in Industry (SAAPI), Pretoria, 8 & 9 May 2007.
